Learn ™Adobe Illustrator to draw professional quality technical flats!
Beginners are welcome in this hands-on workshop!
No drawn-out demonstrations or lectures! Learn to draw flats by using the software!
We will start with a brief review of Illustrator’s tool set and user interface.
The course structure is as follows:
• Review of User Interface and Tool Set
• Drawing basic shapes – Drawing the basic button
• Drawing Pen tool line types;
o Basic Line
o Constrained Curves
o Un-Constrained Curves
o Reverse Constrained Curves
o Reverse Un-Constrained Curves
• Drawing the Basic Blouse flat - front
• Drawing the Basic Blouse flat – back
• Drawing different neck types
• Intro to stitches (Illustrator brushes)
All attendees will receive both start and completed versions of all files as well as access to online training that follows the classroom instruction.
This is a B.Y.O.D. workshop! This means Bring Your Own Device (computer)
You will need the most recent version of Adobe Illustrator to be installed on your computer.

You will be required to have an Adobe ID. All that is needed for this is a valid email address.
If you own an earlier version of Illustrator, you are welcome to use it, but some features and new tools we cover will not be available.
