Presented by Taryn Hipwell

Taryn is the founder, creator and editor-in-chief of "Hugging trees in heels."  She studied Fashion Design and Art Therapy at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and screenwriting at the UCLA Extension Program. She worked for designer Anna Sui in New York and styled films and celebrities, while assisting director David Zucker in Los Angeles. She’s been a guest lecturer all over the world including Zambia and South Africa.  Taryn teaches “Eco Fashion” specialty classes at FDIM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) and ECHS (Environmental Charter High School).  Presently she is in post-production on a documentary she’s producing about the "Green Pageant Journey” of a Miss Malibu contestant. Taryn is a 2012 Los Angeles Business Journal – Women Making a Difference Award Nominee.
