The Pink Room at Company Z sells nationwide and to many famous local boutiques such as Fred Segal, Lisa Kline, Just Us Girls, and Sassy’s.

Norma began her fashion career as designer/owner/and creator of Bodalia, a line that helped start the adorned sweat suit phenomenon. Bodalia morphed into five other divisions, Dakota, Kate, Trinkets, Blonde, and most recently Pinkee.  After twenty years on the manufacturing side she took all her experience and applied it to opening her own showroom. She also has quite a colorful past working in theater and even currently she is always running out the door to auditions. At the moment Norma is working on the Mammoth Theater Festival, which runs in late summer.

Norma is quite a multi-tasker. “She’ll take on six things at a time” Stacy says. Before market week she’ll personally deliver a bag of animal cookies to each of her stores, making sure they stop by the showroom when they come into town. ”It’s the Cookie Drive and we’re the Pink Scouts at Company Z” Norma told me with a giggle.  She likes to make a statement that leaves an impact.  At the Pool Show this past February, they didn’t just have a booth, they had “The” Booth ,a 1000 square foot arena , handing out Pink Cocktails and Cotton Candy. “We like to promote fun!” Norma told me while we sitting in her pink showroom in little pink chairs.

Norma isn’t the only fashion minded person in the family. Her son, Kirk and very special partner Sharise Neil, own the Pink Polka Dot Line and her husband Gene has the largest showroom on the 5th floor at the California Market Center  “Gene Zuckerman”. With excitement like that all in one family, we really don’t know what to look forward to next from Norma and Company Z The Pink Room. “Growth” is her prediction. For such a happy go lucky person, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
