(FBI) brings the latest in LA looks to fashionistas everywhere through an exclusive online store showcasing LA based designers. The collaborative effort between FBI and eBay will kick off on October 28th with a live fashion show at The Standard, Downtown LA to launch the online store that same evening at www.ebay.com/lafashion. The show will feature five LA based designers; Hanna Hartnell, Sugar Moods, Timoteo, Glaza Clothing, and Becca Swimwear, and will be anchored by LA’s own David Cardona. Known for sharp tailoring, sophisticated yet modern styling and impeccable craftsmanship, the David Cardona collection follows in the tradition of couture with love for both the creativity and the craft of making clothing. David has designed for countless celebrities and his designs have appeared on the red carpet, in major Hollywood productions and in the concert tours of both Janet Jackson and Cher.

Participating designers will extend their reach to the 115-million eBay users who might not have access to their clothes through regional retail outlets.  Meanwhile, shoppers who can’t make it to the show will be able to log onto eBay and bid for their favorite in LA fashions from designers such as David Cardona, Trina Turk, Max Studios, Hurley, Lucky Brand, Von Dutch, Split. One World, and many more FBI supports who will also be donating items for the two-week on-line auction.

The invite-only VIP show will be held Thursday evening exclusively for press, retailers, buyers, and juried designers to launch the exclusive online LA Fashion auction. The auction will run for two weeks, from October 28th to November 11th, and will be comprised of two seven day auctions. After completion of this two-week FBI charity site, the site will be redesigned as a LA destination for global shoppers to find the hot LA looks! It is also planned that the new FBI site will include fun information and tips on shopping and emerging trendy designers as seen on celebrities around town.
