Shelley Wax, M.A., provides a unique brand of consulting services to social entrepreneurs, venture philanthropists, community based organizations and nonprofit entities, offering innovative strategies that bring together the public and private sectors.

Shelley began her career in the marketing, public relations and entertainment industries before venturing into the real estate and financial markets.  She designed, developed and managed the first Family Literacy Program for public housing residents in the City of Los Angeles, secured over $2 million in grant funding for job training programs for one of the City’s WorkSource Centers, and oversaw their AIMS collaborative skills training program for Fashion Business Inc.  She is now coordinating the efforts of underwriters and sponsors in planning a fundraising event for FBI scheduled for the Spring of 2009.

Shelley established and currently serves on the Board of the Emerald Chariot Foundation, managing its Fun to Read Program in South Los Angeles.  Her clients include Wells Fargo Bank and AArrow Advertising, where she acts as U.S. Director of Special Projects.  Shelley holds a Certification in Family Mediation issued by Los Angeles Superior Court, is a published author and student of the martial art Aikido
