Creating Your Own Line Sheets with Photoshop

This is a 4 session workshop. Course participants will meet beginning Monday, September 8th 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the following 3 Mondays, September 15th, 22nd and ending September 29th. This is a hands-on interactive Photoshop workshop that will guide the student through steps for fashion professionals seeking to acquire the skills necessary to build a line-sheet using Photoshop. Week 1 - User interface and tool set - Selections, layers, the color picker - Utilizing layers to organize our artwork - Repeats, file formats and saving palettes - Filters, effects, layer modes and color adjustments Week 2 - Separating foreground elements from the background - Creating complex selections using masks - Brushes and painting techniques - Assembling the line sheet and adding text Week 3 - Painting line art to achieve realism - Clipping masks - Creating and saving custom brushes Week 4 - Create multi-page PDF's - Synchronizing monitor and Photoshop workspace - Formatting and preparing files for web or print presentation
Pre requisite: Basic Computer Knowledge Workbook included Instructor: Chris Schiotis This workshop must be pre-paid
