FBI Certified - International Trade and Logistics Course

This course is a critical overview of the critical aspects of importing and exporting. It is valuable for both a beginner as well as experienced business people. Each session will be 4 hours. This is a 5 session workshop. Course participants meet beginning Thursday, September 11, 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and the following 2 Thursdays, October 2 and 9.



Week 5:
Logistics Ocean Freight, air freight, trucking, rail, intermodal, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehousing and 3PLs

Single seminars can be taken, Certification only upon completion of all 5 seminars.
Ray Bowman has over twenty years of practical international trade and logistics experience through his work with the words second largest freight forwarder and third largest Customs broker in the United States. He provides international trade consultation and training to business throughout the world and teaches international trade classes for the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), the Centers for International Trade Development (CITD), and the U.S. Department of Commerce and Fashion Business Inc. He is currently an international business instructor at Santa Barbara City College. He has also developed the certificate programs for the Los Angeles based Alameda Corridor Jobs Coalition (ACJC), the Export Small Business Development Centers. Mr. Bowman and his wife Leana founded a company in 2002 called Bowman Business Services, which supports both international and nonprofit business with consulting and educational services.
