Introduction to Basic Textile Science: Sourcing, Textile Industry, Price, Appropriate Fabric Choices & Uses (Module 3)

The best place to begin learning about fabrics for the apparel industry; this course will quickly bring you up to speed. Made up of three independent workshop modules, covering the following topics: ~~Module 1: Fibers, Yarns, Weaves, Knits & Fiber Content~~ ~~Module 2: Properties, Washing, Dying, Printing/Finishing & Other Treatments.~~ Module 3: Sourcing, Textile Industry, Price, Appropriate Fabric Choices & Uses Course Dates and Times: ~~Module 1: Saturday July 26th - 9:30 am to Noon (2 hour session with 1/2 hour break)~~ ~~Module 2: Saturday August 2nd - 9:30 am to Noon (2 hour session with 1/2 hour break)~~ Module 3: Saturday August 9th - 9:30 am to Noon (2 hour session with 1/2 hour break)
