Fashion Business Inc. Blog Contributor Guidelines

Thank you for contributing to the new FBI resource blog. Our goal is to make this site a dynamic environment for members of the fashion community to share ideas and resources.

As you contribute we ask that you abide by the following guidelines.

  • All contributors must be current resource members registered with Fashion Business Inc.
  • All contributors must have a short company bio on file at the FBI which will also be displayed on the blog & FBI website as an Industry Partner.
  • Posts should be presented in a short, easy to read writing style. We ask that you try to make your posts no longer than one paragraph in length. To add a page or a feature article please email your request to blog@fashionbizinc.org. Your articles could be used in our FBI Connection that is our monthly news letter. An additional marketing opportunity for your services.
  • Please avoid excessive industry jargon and spell out uncommon acronyms.
  • If you would like to add multiple postings please schedule them for future dates. We ask that each contributor limit their postings to two per week.
  • We invite you to share information about your company as a resource related to your post however we do require that you are providing concrete information that will be generally helpful to our readers. To inquire about direct advertising please email blog@fashionbizinc.org.
  • Please attribute any statements made as fact to a specific source. For example “According to the SBA 9 out of 10 businesses launch with personal loans.” This helps make our readers aware of other resources that may be available.
  • Please limit links outside of your company url to one per post.
  • In order to preserve the security of our blog please do not share your password with non approved contributors.

As this blog is still in its beta phase these rules may adjust to suit the needs of our readers. At that time a written copy of the updated guidelines will be emailed to the email address we have on file for your business.
